Some of the best meals in Maine can be found onboard the schooners of the Maine Windjammer Fleet and I don’t work for them either. I personally experienced this on board the Nathaniel Bowditch many years ago. Read about my Island Clam Bake from an earlier post. This cookbook, Windjammer Cooking will help bring back some of those memories for anyone who’s ever sailed the Maine coast on any of the schooners that traverse the cold waters of Penobscot Bay. Remember the spread for snacks! The food was just amazing!
